About Us

The Redcoats Are Coming!

Redcoats Lacrosse

The Redcoats Lacrosse Association is quickly gaining speed as the most up and coming club in the Niagara Region. Led by Former National Lacrosse League alumni, we offer the best coaching from Paperweight all the way up.

The Redcoats were British soldiers who fought in the War of 1812 alongside the Mohawks, Oneidans and Cayugans, and have a deep historic connection to the Grimsby/Lincoln Region. It was important for the Redcoats Lacrosse Program to honour our history and provide our youth with a jersey steeped in meaning. We look forward to our future, and will continue to honour those who paved the path before us.

The Redcoats Lacrosse Association exists to improve, foster and advance the sport of Lacrosse across West Niagara.

To achieve this end, the Redcoats Board of Directors will:

  • Protect and serve the mutual interests of all members of the association
  • Direct house league and representative minor lacrosse programs for the greatest number of male and female membership possible
  • Promote the concept of fair play and respect at all times, including the ideals of winning graciously and accept defeat with dignity
  • Enhance the positive image of lacrosse by providing development opportunities and initiatives for players, coaches and volunteers to become involved in the game
  • Represent the interests of its membership at District and OLA (Ontario Lacrosse Association) levels
